Tis the szn to GLOW with gratitude

As we approach the end of the year and the season associated with giving thanks, now can be a wonderful opportunity to make time for gratitude.

One of the many great things about gratitude is that it does not have to be complicated - you do not need any fancy tools, equipment or resources. In addition to how simple practicing gratitude can be, reflecting on the things in which you are grateful can have a positive impact on your life. Studies have shown that practicing gratitude can improve your mood, immunity and sleep!

If you are excited about how easy and beneficial practicing gratitude can be then we hope the tips below can help you channel that positive energy into action.

  1. Schedule the time. It is easy to say that we want to make time for gratitude, but picking a specific day and time to practice gratitude can help you make it happen.

  2. Pick the method that works best for you. A digital or physical journal can be helpful, but even just moving to a quiet, calm place can help you get into a mindset to reflect.

  3. Keep your reflections open. You can be grateful for people, places, things and even for yourself and the amazing things that you have accomplished!

  4. Optional: Express your gratitude! While you can still experience the positive effects of gratitude without saying “thank you” to someone, this can be a nice step in the process.

If you have never practiced gratitude before, we have also created a few prompts that can help you consider the various aspects of your life in which you can be grateful.

  • Who has had a positive impact on your life this year? What specifically did they do to make that positive impact?

  • What space do you most cherish right now? What value does this space bring to you?

  • What thing are you grateful to have invested in this year with either your time or your money? How has this investment paid off?

  • Who has supported you and your goals this year? How did their support make you feel as you were working towards these goals?

  • What are you proud of having accomplished this year? What did you do to make these awesome things happen?

Whether you prefer making time for gratitude by reflecting in a quiet space, using a gratitude journal, writing thank-you notes or any other method of your choosing, we hope that taking some time to reflect this time of year helps you recognize all of the positive things in your life.

P.S. We are grateful for YOU :)
